We have spent one night on Hellyer Gorge Roadside Park (A10 pass the Hellyer River in this place). This is quite nice place for one night, close the road but quiet in the night. And free. You can join it to your free campgrounds map.

Thanks hania. it looks like a quiet spot. We have investigated it ourselves, but haven't camped there. Would you mind giving us a bit more info on the spot please?

Hellyer Gorge Roadside Park is situated in a beautiful, green
rainforest, close to Murichson Highway. It is a good place to stay for a night during a trip.
You can find there a few tables and fairly good toilets with running water. Next to the toilets there is
an entrance to a pleasant 15-minutes walking track that leads through
the green rainforest up to Hellyer River.
