Sorry to be a pest, but could you tell us what we are looking at in your lovely photos?
A view of a mountain from a cemetery? A bridge over a river somewhere? etc... just a bit of a sticky beak and need to know.

First image:
A patch of blue daisies, with bumble bees. Taken when I was wandering around town. I couldn't believe the amount of bees that were hanging around.
Second Image:
Was taken at Queenstown cemetery. I really liked the outlook from this spot, Mt Owen in the background.
Third image:
The King River. this was taken on our run out the Mt Jukes Rd. Some very nice scenery out that way
Fourth Image:
Part of Mt Huxley. Also taken on the Mt Jukes Rd, one of the highest parts I think.
I'm glad you liked the shots and no problem being a sticky beak

As Anna said the weather has been pretty wet and I have been stuck doing an assignment for Uni, but I had to go to Rosebery during the week so snapped some shots. I also managed to get out for a bit of a break and took some shots of Mt Owen, which isn't hard cause I just have to open my back door

Were you talking about Nelson Falls or Hogarth Falls?
The settings for the Hogarth Falls shot were:
1/250th sec @ F5.6, 100 ISO at 55mm focal length. It was a stitching together of 4 shots vertically and all shots were taken at the same settings. hand held.
The settings for the Nelson Falls shot were:
1.5 sec @ F22, ISO 100 @ 18mm focal length. with a tripod.
I love where I live...it would take a very special place indeed to make me move away from here
Hope that helps

Just try different settings when you do have a go Dave, what's good for one spot may be not so good for others, but i suppose they can be starting points to see what works for you

I got out a couple of times this week. There is a track I can see from my kitchen window that was intriguing me so I decided to climb it. We also got out to Cradle Mountain and did the Dove lake Circuit. It's an awesome walk and I would like to get back there and do it again. So this week the shots are from Queenstown and Cradle. Enjoy
A chilly Queenstown morning from my back step.
A little pond I came across while on my walk up the track
The water reservoir at the top of the track, in Queenstown
Cradle Mountain, one of the brief views of her that day.
Fagus, just starting to turn.
